Jolee Semi-Sparkling Rose

You may have noticed that I’ve been a little less active on my blog and social media lately, and to answer the question I’ve already received a few times, no I’m not planning to shut down Twenty Something and Tipsy. My day job has been busier than ever lately and I’ve been experiencing some continued health issues, which has pushed this side hustle to the back burner – so is life. I’m hoping to get back into the swing of things here in the next few months.

I’m working on an upcoming calendar of content so if there’s something in particular that you’d like to see more of, be sure to let me know via Instagram or Facebook!

For now, let’s focus on one of the latest bottles of Oregon wine I cracked into. Here’s everything you need to know about the Jolee Semi-Sparkling Rose from Del Rio Vineyards.

Jolee Semi-Sparkling Rose

Appearance: If you meet somewhere in the middle between salmon and bubble gum pink, you’ll find the exact color of Jolee Semi-Sparkling Rose. Reminds me of something you’d find on the shelves of a sugary candy shop.

Swirling & Smelling: The aroma has a dry punchiness, with a fruit back end. This is a bottle that smells like summer and brings on the nostalgia of long days spent in the hot summer sun, warm skin and cool evening breezes.

Tasting: Light effervescent bubbles with super fruity flavors of peach. The more I drank, the more overpowering the sweetness became, however the wine over all remained crisp and snappy. This was one of those wines where before you know it, the whole bottle is gone… how did that happen?!

Recommended Drinking Experience: If you’re a murderino like myself, you probably spend a lot of time listening to and watching true crime. With such heavy topics, you’ve really got to keep other factors light – might I suggest cracking open a bottle of Jolee Semi-Sparkling Rose from Del Rio Vineyards?
