Gérard Bertrand Cote des Roses Rosé

Cote des Roses Rosé

Confession: Sarah and I have been holding out on you all a bit, but were ready to come clean and stop hoarding all the bottles for ourselves. Meet our go-to rose, the one we’ve lost track of how many bottles we’ve finished: the Gérard Bertrand Cote des Roses Rosé.

This is the real deal you guys, from the taste to the appearance of the bottle and the delicate pink color of the wine – this one has it all. It even passes a ross test like a boss.

First introduced to us at a work gathering, this one has stood the test of time and has been paired with everything from charcuterie to risotto with no complaints. I can also personally attest that it pairs perfectly with a bag of Smartpop and binge watching the second season of Making a Murder 😉

Before I get into the details I have to callout how GORGEOUS this bottle is. They truly thought of every detail here! The base is shaped like roses and long-necked bottle leads to a cute glass stopper in lieu of a traditional cork – a more than Instagram worthy bottle.

Cote des Roses Rosé

Appearance – delicate ballerina pink

Swirly & Smelling – fruity and floral

Tasting – just as it smells, fruity, floral and fresh. This one isn’t overly dry or sweet and hits a nice middle ground that allows you to enjoy it over and over again.

This wine is no two-buck chuck, but it isn’t a budget breaker either, which is another point in its favor, I’ve picked this baby up for anywhere from $11.99 at Costco to $14.99 at Target. I recently learned they also make a red and white version of the Cote des Roses, so I’ll be keeping an eye out for both of those in the future.
